These wells have a threaded plug, gasket, and chain. They are used with chemical thermometers to take temperature in vessels, pipel lines etc., not open to atmospheric pressure. A conducting medium should be used to assure more accurate results. Made of 304 stainless steel. The stems lengths that are described are the lengths below the threads.
