The 18500 series centrifuge has bowl heat to meet requirements for API's Manual of Petroleum Measurement Chapter 10.4. The machine is equipped with a temperature control that is set to produce an interior temperature of 140 °F, plus or minus 5°F. (60 ° C) This series does not have pre-heater pockets on the front. This makes it compact and lightweight for tight spaces.

The machine is 20 inches wide by 22 1/2 inches deep. It is 10 3/4 inches tall, and 22 inches high with the lid open. The total weight is 33 lbs. The conpactness and light weight of this unit are outstanding features for those needing to conserve space and weight.
