Safety Design:
This unit contains no electrical parts that would present a sparking hazard
Pressure Control:
Filter-regulator allows the operator to preset the air pressure to the air motor, controlling motor speed
Speed Verification:
Air motor speed can be checked using a handheld tachometer inserted through an access hole in the lids
Operation Control:
Shut-off valve controls operation of the unit
Lubrication:
Adjustable in-line oiler lubricates the air motor during operation
Air Supply Pressure:
Air filter-regulator reduces incoming air supply pressure to 60 PSI to 90 PSI to produce the required RPM
Air Consumption:
Air consumption ranges from 3.7 CFM to 7.2 CFM depending on use of a two-place or four-place head (see 18426)
Heating Option:
If heating is required, the centrifuge can be connected to a vehicle's cooling system or used with a thermo cycle heater
