THIS PLUMB BOB IS A WATER GAGE BAR. IT IS SERRATED FOR USE WITH WATER INDICATING PASTE. IT IS MARKED IN 10THS AND 100THS OF A FOOT. ALL WATER GAGE BARS ARE 18 INCHES IN LENGTH AND THE TAPE USED WITH IT MUST BE CUT TO FIT DUE TO THE 12 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL LENGTH IN THE BOB.
