Marked Ropes for Tulsa Oil Thief™ Samplers

Our marked ropes are designed for precision sampling when using Tulsa Oil Thief™ samplers. Constructed from 100% cotton, each rope is supplied complete with fittings for direct attachment to a Tulsa Oil Thief. These ropes feature brass ferrule markers pressed into the rope at 2-foot intervals, measured from the bottom of the thief, allowing for accurate control of sampling depth.

Marked ropes are especially useful when following procedures outlined in API MPMS Chapter 8.1 – Manual Sampling, where precise depth measurements are critical.

Features:

  • Made from 100% cotton with factory-installed fittings

  • Brass ferrules spaced at 2-ft intervals for depth indication

  • Available for 12", 16", and 18" Tulsa Oil Thieves

  • Standard rope lengths: 18, 20, 25, 33, 40, 50, 66, 75, and 100 ft

  • Custom lengths available upon request

  • Additional markers can be installed at custom intervals (please specify when ordering)
