The Tulsa Oil Thief™ has been one of the basic products of W. L. Walker Company since 1932. The thief has a reputation in the oil industry for effective oil sampling on the bottom of the tank or at any level. All Tulsa Oil Thieves have the following features: single trip (original with the Tulsa Thief™ ), antifouling flat bail assembly, full opening horizontal closure system with rotating valve, two adjustable springs (one for closing tension and one for tripping tension, for more flexible adjustment), side hanger on the top casting for hanging it on the hatch or equipment case, adjustable graduated trip rod (trip rod makes fourth legal for holding thief in upright position as a hydrometer cylinder).
