The Tulsa Oil Thief™ has been one of the basic products of W. L. Walker Company since 1932.
The Thief has a reputation in the oil industry for effective oil sampling at the bottom of the tank or at any level. All Tulsa Oil Thiefs™ have the following features: single trip (original with the Tulsa Thief ™, antifouling flat bail assembly, full opening horizontal closure system with rotating valve, two adjustable springs (one for closing tension and one for tripping tension, for more flexible adjustment), side hanger on the top casting for hanging it on the hatch or equipment case, petcocks may be installed at any point, except near top or base castings. These models are seperated by barrel material: Aluminum, Brass, and Clear Plastic. All theifs have single the following features: single trip, antifouling flat bail assembly, full opening horizontal closure system with rotating valve, two adjustable springs (one for closing tension, and one for tripping tension), side hanger on top casting for hanging on hatches or equipment cases. Petcocks may be installed at any point on any style thief, except for the top. We use a material for the clear plastic barrels that will not crack if the petcock strikes an object.
